I have a friend. His name is Tim. All our life we are seen together. We studied together at school and now we are attending together our University. He is a good and kind guy. He likes music as much as I do. He plays guitar and he has his own rock band. His passion to the music began when he heard first time the famous Liverpool band “Beatles”. This legendary group consisted of four members: Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Star. Before the “Beatles” every member of this wonderful band performed in various rock bands. The name “Beatles” was taken in 1960. They had performances at different clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg. They were the most recognizable four men of that period. A lot of girls run mad about these guys, a lot of boys dreamed to be like “Beatles”. Such songs as “Love Me Do”, “She Loves You” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand” made them the most popular rock band all over the world. “Beatles” were a plentiful source of inspiration for such celebrities as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and Bill Haley. The “Beatles” long hair and tastes in dress were imitated throughout the world. This band was at the top of popularity for many years. They won recognition from the music industry in position they made a lot of different experiments with their music. Unfortunately their public performances ended in 1966. But even today their songs are listened to the million people of different ages all over the world. I don’t know the same popular and legendary group as “Beatles”. It is not surprising for me why Tim went in for music. He adores their work and their songs. He has all their records. He is a fan of them. Songs of “Beatles” inspirit Tim to writing wonderful songs and to perform at different disco-clubs of our city. By the way, his group has their own fans too and I’m not an exception. I like his songs very much. His performances have a great success among young people and people who like rock music.
