Once upon a time my parents made a great surprise to my birthday. They presented to me two tickets to one of my favorite punk- rock band Good Charlotte. I was delirious with delight. I didn’t expect such gift especially from my parents. Usually they don’t like when I listen to such music. It was a big surprise for me. I’m sure all fans of this band can understand me. It was the only concert at our state.

As they presented two tickets I supposed to go there with my best friend Caroline. She likes this band too. She was on the top of the world when I told her that she would go with me. We were very excited. We supposed to have a marvelous night. We were very busy in preparation to the concert that we didn’t go to the University at the day of the concert. Two hours before the performance I received a call. It was my devoted friend Tim. He had some trouble and he needed money urgently. He told me the sum, but I hadn’t such big money. And I couldn’t ask my parents, because they wouldn’t give it to me. I had nothing except two tickets to rock band Good Charlotte. I hadn’t enough time for thinking; I just went and sold the most valuable present in my life. It was my duty to help Tim. For the sake of friendship I was ready to sacrifices even my dream. I just knew if some when I would need a help he surely would help me to get out of trouble. This I called a strong friendship. Caroline was disappointed of course, even a little bit angry to me, but she is easily appeased and she even was proud of me. Nevertheless we went to disco-club where Good Charlotte should perform that my parents wouldn’t suspect something. We just stood near the entrance and just envied to people who had tickets. But I didn’t regret about my action. Tim is more important for me than Good Charlotte, besides I still can watch their clips and listen to their music. And I hope that some when I will go to the one of my favorite rock band Good Charlotte and even probably with my friend Tim.
